"San Diego Hosts 18th Bay2Bay"
|
Though San Diego is high on the list for yachters, last june its waters were turned over to paddlers as the city played host to its 19th Annual San Diego Bay2Bay paddling race. Sponsored by Cobra kayaks, the event was open to any type of human-powered watercraft, with nearly 500 participants taking part in the festivities. The rowing and paddling regatta, including the choice of a 5- or 20-mile course, was hosted by the San Diego Sailing Center."
